    SUNPARTNER TECHNOLOGIES meets Japanese prospects and customers in Tokyo on a showroom organized in NTT DOCOMO VENTURES premises

    On May 18th, Sunpartner TECHNOLOGIES met its customers and prospects in Tokyo within its partner and investor NTT DOCOMO VENTURES premises. Many journalists had also made the trip. On this occasion, Ludovic Deblois, CEO of Sunpartner, and Thierry Godard, SVP Business Development Asia, reported on the company’s plans and outlooks for the Japanese market and introduced their latest innovations and technologies dedicated to buildings, transportation and consumer mobile and connected objects.

    Sunpartner also made demos of their products and solutions:

    – Vision Glass and Design Glass: two smart surfaces dedicated to buildings and transportation, redefining solar architecture for smart and optimized power consumption:
    o Vision Glass brings autonomy to opacifying surfaces thanks to invisible and seamless solar cells.
    o Design Glass is made of solar cell thin stripes to empower window embedded features.

    – The latest Kyocera prototype: this solar smartphone is equipped with a Full HD screen. Exposing it to light* for 3 minutes is enough to generate 1-minute “call mode” communication.
    * Exposure at 1 SUN

    – Watches equipped with Wysips® Reflect technology: this thin and transparent solar module can get integrated into any types of reflective screens or watch dials to extend the battery charge and give connected watches autonomy similar to that of traditional watches.

    Sunpartner also introduced accessories integrating Wysips® Graphics technology : bag and keyfinders. Wysips® Graphics, dedicated to textured surfaces, masks and integrates photovoltaic cells for everyday objects. It associates an optical network print to specific solar modules.

    Ludovic Deblois and his team warmly thank all the participants as well as NTT DOCOMO VENTURES who made its premises available, and Business France who collaborated in the organization of this event.
