Conceived as an open sky space for experimentation, this campus of the future is where innovation and cutting edge technology are not only permanently on display, but are also used and tested by users in real life settings before being rolled out on a large scale.
A spirit for innovation also underscores its choice of partners, with Sunpartner Technologies selected to equip two buildings with its smart PV products achieving excellent results. Inaugurated in September 2017 near Aix en Provence, thecamp has semi-transparent photovoltaic glass integrated into its gymnasium as well its visitor residencies.

Gymnasium
SUNPARTNER products:
• 4 Horizon windows developed in partnership with Vinci Construction. They are composed of dimmable dynamic glazing powered by Wysips® Glass H10 modules.
• The electronics for controlling the window was developed by Sunpartner to control the glass’s tint level, to store the energy and the wireless communication with a remote control.

Visitors residencies
SUNPARTNER products:
• Guardrail made up of 20 modular elements of Wysips® Glass H10
+ Energy production reinjected into the network for self-consumption
+ A “lace” design for a harmonious integration with the aesthetics of a terrace. Cables and connectors are integrated in the handrail and the structure of the wood.
 

A specialist in industrial LCD backlighting, PHLOX opted to equip its company HQ with 12 smart windows that use Oline by Sunpartner. The windows were made with dynamic dimmable glazing powered by photovoltaic Wysips® Glass and replaced manual blinds that were deteriorating from the wind.
The Oline solution is composed of semi-transparent photovoltaic glass and an electronics card, both developed by Sunpartner, which powers the dynamic tint functionality, making it autonomous. This solution improves user wellbeing and reduces a building’s electricity spend.

• 12 Windows made from 26 m2 of variable dynamic tint glazing powered by 8 m2 of Wysips®Glass H10
• The window control electronics, developed by Sunpartner, is placed on each windows frame so the windows are autonomous and connected.
