Sunpartner Technologies supports FutureIsClean
The solar airplane Solar Impulse is now on its first flight around the world. Its founders and pilots, Bertrand Piccard and André Borschberg, have launched a global campaign to reach one million votes in favor of clean technologies, called FUTUREISCLEAN.
In December 2015, world leaders will meet in Paris for the UN Conference on Climate Change (COP21) and will decide on a new climate agreement.
Solar Impulse asked Sunpartner Technologies to join and support the FUTUREISCLEAN campaign along with the Solar Impulse project.
“We answered yes!” said Ludovic Deblois, CEO and co-founder of Sunpartner Technologies. “Driven for 6 years by our disruptive innovations in renewable energy, it is natural that Sunpartner support the SOLAR IMPULSE initiative. The year 2015 should be the turning point for new paradigm shifts. SOLARIMPULSE is an amazing adventure and is symbolic for opening the way to a new era. We wish them success as well as for the FutureIsClean campaign.”
